Opportunity Lost :Madam Boss Interview

Madam Boss and Ola 7
It’s okay to admit you were cheated on and you are working on your marriage

Let me start by saying I love Madam Boss, she is a vibe and a dear sister. I will share my opinion from a caring sister and one who sees great potential for her work which could transform even more lives.

So much to reflect on Madam Boss interview with Dj Ollah 7 Star Fm about her marriage. The most trending statement is ‘I have no idea’ an expression of ignorance for what’s happening around her or the cheating of her husband. This is a woman trying to survive but also is being managed trying to save the reputation.

Zimbabwe is also celebrating her stance of not ‘fugura hapwa’ about her marriage, part of a harmful culture that celebrates women suffering while hiding things. It makes cheating men comfortable in their tricks riding on women to protect them.

It gives abused and cheated women a badge of honor for withstanding emotional and intimate abuse that comes with being cheated such as Madam Boss.

Speaking out is and should be promoted for women when they go through cheating and as a society we must stop celebrating a culture of tolerance for this evil that has destroyed marriages as well as women emotionally.

What we would imagine is that Madam Boss will find her own way of dealing with this betrayal by her husband. She may punish him, try to control the family finances even more because there is now another woman and also her child. In this very secretive under ground cheating culture married women usually refuse to acknowledge the other out-of-wedlock child, there is underground bickering and fighting that Ngoni and Tarisai will be handling, we pray it ends well.

But let’s stop the culture of giving abused and cheated women a badge of honor, everyone must speak out and against the cheating of their husbands. We must not sanitize this abuse.

It’s Ok for Madam Boss to acknowledge she was cheated and that they are working on their marriage. This sensationalistic denial of facts shows lack of voice for Tarisai (Madam Boss).

It’s a lost opportunity to actually be the voice for truth for women who find themselves in such situations and need someone to tell them it’s not ok to be treated like this by your husband.

Tarisai missed an opportunity to stand out against violence against women, but rather she chose to maintain her status core. cheating is not the standard we must accept and celebrities must speak out!

People make poor decisions like Ngoni did of infidelity, and they must reform, but they must be held accountable to their misdeeds not to be covered up for.

This is a real lost opportunity for reform!
