An Artist With A Heart Of Gold

Award winning Gospel artiste Dorcas Moyo has paid fees and bought school uniforms for a primary school learner at Matika in Mutare.

In a Facebook post, Moyo highlighted how she had looked for the learner since last year after her essay on The Famous Person she knows trended on Social Media platforms as she thoroughly wrote about Dorcas Moyo and her music career. In the essay, the learner demonstrated vast knowledge of Moyo’s career and is evidently an ardent fan.

She said, “Finally my heart at peace…Managed to trace the little angel who wrote her composition about the famous person she know and she wrote about Dorcas Moyo…Ndakamutsvaga and finally today ndamuwana and managed to go at Matika Primary School here in Mutare,… Manicaland…Thank you Irene Chakonesa and the Headmistress Mrs Mhandu for the warm welcome…The staff members…Thank you….My heart now at peace ndazadzisa zvishuwo zvemoyo….Blessings..

Hordes of fans applauded Moyo for the the marvellous gesture. However, some probed the gospel guru to at least pay fees for the girl. To which she further revealed was a done deal.

She said, “I was looking for the little angel since last year and managed kumuwana today…Kumutsvaga kwese uku ndaidawo kuratidza kutenda kwangu and ndazadzisa…Varikubvunza zvamafees its done..The whole year she is covered and uniforms.”
Fellow musicians like Romeo Gasa and Mai Patai praised Moyo for the good deed and wrote,
“God bless you,” and “Awesome, God bless” respectively.
