Selmor Mtukudzi Opens Grocery Store

Most celebrities stick to the trade that made them a star, but a few use their fame and fortune as a business platform. If the side business takes off, some shift from the spotlight to a corner office while others find a way to shine at both.

Popular Afro-Jazz musician, Selmor Mtukudzi is clearly shining at both her music career and side hustles. In a post on her Facebook page, she announced the opening of her new grocery store in Domboshava called ‘Try Again 1’.

“Meet the new storo keeper. If you are ever in Domboshava come and buy in my new shop……” she said.

Fellow musicians like Alick Macheso, Sulu Chimbetu and Nox Guni took time to celebrate and congratulate the new development.

Selmor has been in the music industry for the past ten years but she rose to national stardom in 2013 after releasing her album ‘Expressions’. As it turns out, her marketing side is kicking in and we wish her all but the best in her new endeavor.
