LEAD President, Linda Masarira Fights On

Labour, Economists and African Democrats (LEAD) president, Linda Masarira revealed in a tweet that she has been given a court date for a sit down after she faced challenges in qualifying for  the presidential election race.

She wrote;

”Finally, we have been given a sit down date. Hoping and praying for the best.” Below is the image she also shared.

Masarira is a presidential aspirant who was foiled by bank transfer limits and couldn’t file her application to run for presidency in the upcoming August 23 elections.

“Running for political office in Zimbabwe is now a preserve of the rich, we are no longer guaranteed of our political rights and these exorbitant nomination fees actually reverse the gains of the liberation struggle,” said Masarira.
