Young Lawyer Appointed Into ZIFA

One of the four-member normination committee which was recently announced by FIFA to run ZIFA for a year, 25-year-old lawyer Nyasha Sanyamandwe has revealed what an honor it is for her to be given an opportunity to help the Zimbabwean official soccer team.

Her appointment came as a surprise to the football fraternity and some have cast doubt over her appointment while others have hailed the soccer fraternity for giving her an equal opportunity.

Nyasha says she believes her work will answer her critics.

“It’s such a pleasure to be part of the normalisation committee and I feel it’s such a progressive step in the right direction for Zimbabwean football”, she said.

We hope to see more women take up these unexpected roles and opportunities.
