A Legend Musician, Zex Manatsa Has Died.

He succumbed to cancer yesterday and he was 78 years old.

The deceased’s son Tendai Manatsa confirmed the passing on of his father through his social media platform.

“With great sadness we would like to let everyone know that our Father, our Legend, Pastor and Sekuru Zexie Manatsa has succumbed to cancer. May his dear soul rest in peace,” said the Facebook post on Zex Manatsa page.

He revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer in August 2021 known as multiple myeloma

The music legend celebrated his 78^th birthday on the 1^st of January 2022.

Zex is survived by his wife Stella and six sons, daughter in laws and 12 grandchildren of which all his son’s are into music with a number of grandchildren showing interest in music as well.

Zex Manatsa had a number of it songs and many albums. He is popularly known for filling Rufaro Stadium at his wedding in 1979.
