President Mnangagwa Expected To Finally Get Vaccinated

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to receive his first jab of the  Sinovac vaccine on Wednesday,the 24th of March in Victoria Falls after not taking the vaccine for a while. He will be accompanied by leaders of Political parties in Zimbabwe who will also get vaccinated.

President Mnangagwa will officially launch the second phase of Covid-19 vaccination in Victoria Falls after allegations of him doubting the Chinese-donated Sinopharm vaccine. 

Other government officials like Vice-President Chiwenga, the first lady Auxillia Mnangagwa and government spokesperson Nick Mangwana among many others took the vaccine earlier leaving the public wondering if the President himself was taking a backseat in getting vaccinated. 

The event which is expected to be high profiled will have other political leaders  who are also expected to receive jabs on the day. 

The Government also announced a vaccination programme for teachers and school personnel following the opening of schools and colleges earlier this week.
