I was born on Friday 31st January 1975 at the Colliery hospital at Whange.
I am the duly elected Member of Parliament for Whange Central constituency since 31st July 2018.
I am a human rights lawyer and former pan African civil society leader focusing on public health care advocacy.
I would like to be remembered for making a positive difference in the political and socioeconomic lives of millions of Zimbabweans in particular and Africans in general.
I am driven by a passionate desire to selflessly serve humanity.
I am inspired by the whole African social concept of UBUNTU.
I love people especially the African people.
My passionate desire is to make a significant difference in improving the lives of fellow humans.
The lyrics of the song, Man in the Mirror by the late Michael Jackson encapsulates my personal philosophy and approach to everyday life.
IM: What is your passion?
FDM: Serving humanity is my passion. I love people so much. I enjoy making a big difference or positive impact in the lives of fellow human beings.
IM: What do you see in the near future?
FDM: I see myself playing an even more crucial or strategic role in helping to make life better for millions of our people.
For my community- to actively influence the ability of local communities to be self empowered to improve their lives both from a political and socioeconomic perspective.
Business- to help raise a new confident generation of philanthropic entrepreneurs from Zimbabwe in particular and Africa in general.
Country- to make sure that Zimbabwe finally fulfills its development potential both from a political and socioeconomic perspective. Zimbabwe must be the pride and jewel of Africa. It must a nation that is respected and admired not just by fellow Africans but also by all the citizens of the entire globe.
IM: What are your parting words or advice?
FDM: Whatever we seek to do or achieve, we must NOT put ourselves first. We must ALWAYS put others first. The world could be a better place if passion and selfless service was the guiding principle.
