Master KG’s Record Label Demands Money From Zim Companies For ‘Jerusalem Challenge’

In new developments, Master KG’s record label has decided to legally pursue all companies that used the artists hit song ‘Jerusalema’ to market and endorse their brands without paying him.

This will be bad news for most Zimbabwean companies who used the ‘Jerusalema Challenge’ for their own endorsements. However, for the general public who sang the song for fun, the record label reportedly has no intentions to pursue them.

The ‘Jerusalema Challenge’, where groups of people would follow a choreographed dance routine whilst the hit song played, became a trend in South Africa and eventually Zimbabwe.

Many companies like Econet, Tiger Wheel&Tyre, Chicken Inn etc joined the trend with their employees.
