Mhangura Police Arrest Suspect in Disturbing Case Of Child Sexual Abuse.

A 44-year-old man from Mhangura has been taken into custody by police following serious allegations of sexual assault involving an 11-year-old girl.

According to reports, the incidents began in July 2024 when the young girl was in her garden. The accused allegedly approached her from across a stream and, in a disturbing turn of events, is said to have assaulted her multiple times, threatening her to keep silent.

The man reportedly visited the girl’s father, who is a family friend, and later returned to the area under the guise of a visitor. When the girl’s parents went to bed, he allegedly entered their home and assaulted her once more.

The brave young girl eventually came forward with her experiences, leading to a police investigation and the subsequent arrest of the accused. Authorities are now working diligently to ensure justice is served.
