In a significant move towards realizing Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has officially inaugurated the Hills Luxury Golf Estate, a US$280 million development by West Properties Private Limited. This remarkable project is set to add over 862 residential units to the city’s housing stock, providing accommodation for approximately 4,310 people.
The President hailed the initiative as a testament to the private sector’s confidence in the government’s economic policies, positioning the Hills Luxury Golf Estate as a key component in enhancing Zimbabwe’s national brand and image. Equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including a golf course, gymnasium, and sports academies, the estate is poised to align with global trends in sustainable urban living.
Addressing the gathering, President Mnangagwa emphasized the importance of incorporating green technologies and climate-resilient designs, commending West Properties for their commitment to environmentally conscious development. He called on stakeholders to ensure that the project includes sustainable infrastructure and quality public services, reflecting the government’s broader agenda of creating modern, resilient, and inclusive urban spaces.
