A group of 21 digital marketing and graphic design students from underprivileged communities in Zimbabwe are set to graduate from the prestigious Pan Afrodigital training program on July 26th. The students were sponsored by the ZOF Africa initiative and selected by Miracle Missions Vimba.
Speaking about the graduation, which is taking place on Friday, July 26, Pan Afrodigital founder Trust Nhokovedzo highlighted the importance of equipping students with digital skills. “Pan Afrodigital’s curriculum equips graduates with market-relevant skills highly sought after by employers in today’s skill-driven job market. By completing these programs, graduates gain a significant advantage in securing employment,” he said.
Pan Afrodigital, a leading provider of digital marketing and graphic design education, has played a crucial role in imparting these valuable skills to its students. According to Nhokovedzo, the institution’s focus is on giving students the abilities they need to thrive in any organizational role.
“In today’s world, people are employed for what they can deliver for the employer. Qualifications are important for placement in the organization, but skills are what allow you to deliver results,” Nhokovedzo emphasized. “Pan Afrodigital focuses on giving students the skills they need to succeed in any organizational role.”
The graduating class includes 53 digital marketing students and 6 graphic design students, who will join the ranks of Pan Afrodigital’s alumni. Over the years, the institution has trained individuals from various organizations, including Econet, Old Mutual, First Mutual, banks, small companies, and even enentrepreneurs.
“Their success stories are a testament to the value of the skills imparted in our courses,” Nhokovedzo proudly stated.
The graduation ceremony will be graced by the presence of Sibo Muteyiwa, the head of marketing at the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe.
This milestone event represents the seventh graduation ceremony hosted by Pan Afrodigital, further solidifying its reputation as a premier institution for digital marketing and graphic design education in the region.
