Tarisai Cleopatra Chikocho is a prominent Zimbabwean comedian, actress, and social media personality, born on April 16, 1985, in Madziva Village. Madam Boss has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry over the years. Madam Boss rose to fame in 2016 through her hilarious maid skits on social media, which resonated deeply with audiences across Zimbabwe and beyond. Her ability to connect and engage with the audience gained her a loyal fan base, which propelled her into the spotlight.
In 2017, Madam Boss received the Social Media Brand of the Year at the Zimbabwe Business Awards. Furthermore, she went on to receive the Outstanding Comedian of the Year award at the Zimbabwe National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA), which was a recognition of her contribution to the comedy industry. This marked a pivotal moment in her career and served as a testament to her growing influence in the entertainment scene.
Continuing her momentum, Madam Boss went on to win the Socialite of the Year at the Zimbabwe Social Awards in 2018. In the same year, she received the People’s Choice Award at the Zimbabwe International Women Awards, which further strengthened the Madam Boss brand.

Madam Boss’s first international recognition came in 2020 when she won the E! People’s Choice Award for Best African Social Star. Madam Boss said, “I honestly can’t believe that I won the award, it feels like a dream. I am worried I might wake up and realize that I am dreaming.”
The socialite also made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, featuring in several films and television shows, including the Nollywood series “The Offspring.” She featured alongside Nollywood great actors such as Prince Jide Kosko and Ayo Adesanya. Furthermore, Madam Boss graced the Bridgerton event in South Africa in May 2024, where she joined other distinguished guests in celebrating the acclaimed period drama series. In June 2024, she was invited as an international guest to the renowned BET Awards, where she not only represented Zimbabwe but also showcased her talent on a global platform. This prestigious invitation underscored her growing impact and recognition beyond the borders of her home country.
Madam Boss has represented several corporations as a brand ambassador such as Nyaradzo Group, TN Bakery, Hellopaisa, Omari, among others. Her influence and popularity have made a her sought after brand ambassador in Zimbabwe and beyond.
