Breaking News: Mugabe To Be Buried at Heroes Acre

It has been confirmed by the family spokes person, Leo Mugabe that the former President will be buried at the national Heroes Acre.

Speaking to members of the media, Leo Mugabe said; “yes i can confirm that there has been that consensus, atleast now they have pronounced their position which they had not pronounced all along.., now what we need to do is to wait for the details, they are more important, as to whether it will be a private burial or a public burial. The issue of private burial has been always central to the chiefs, i will need to get confirmation from them as far as that is concerned’.

As far as when the burial is to take place, Leo said the chiefs had not yet confirmed since there needs to be special procedures in preparation to the burial at the national shrine.

Mugabe, the longest Zimbabwe former president since independence died last friday at a Singapore hospital at the age of 95. The nation had been at a stand still as to whether Mugabe was to be buried at the national shrine or not.

Many people had already become divided over the issue and this pronouncement puts the debates and anxieties to rest.
